Indeed yes. The Vintage machinery shed, the small engine “cage”, and the dogs are well worth a visit.

The triple expansion engine, amazing advance in steam technology. How many hours to make your model John?

John, I didn’t record hours. 3 years with a couple of 6 month breaks. Many tiny complex parts. Still not totally finished. probably never will be. But I did learn heaps. And it does actually run, reverses, better when the condenser is hooked up.

That triple expansion engine of yours still blows my mind. It’s such a beautiful machine, as are the Armstrong cannons in their exquisite detail. I like the second pic, too, with it’s big brother behind it.
I’m glad to see that you’ve survived winter and hope you are now enjoying spring weather.

I was looking closely at the triple expansion while it was running on steam, this is my personal fave of all your models… It’s the detail just amazing !!
